One of the most exciting aspects of the Triund Trek is the journey itself. The trek can be approached through two popular routes- via Bhagsu Nag and Shiva Café, or through Gallu Devi Temple. While Gallu Devi Temple serves as the official starting point of the trek, many travelers prefer taking the scenic Bhagsu route, which passes through beautiful waterfalls, forests, and mountain cafés before joining the main trail.

The trek is a perfect blend of adventure and natural beauty. Along the way, you'll walk through dense oak and rhododendron forests, enjoy stunning valley views, relax at mountain cafés, and witness some of the most spectacular sunsets and sunrises in the Himalayas.

Day 1 - Arrival in McLeod Ganj

Upon arrival in McLeod Ganj, check in to your hotel or guesthouse and spend the rest of the day exploring this charming mountain town. You can visit local cafés, stroll through the Tibetan markets, explore monasteries, or simply enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere. In the evening, attend a trek briefing and prepare for the adventure ahead. Overnight Stay: McLeod Ganj

Day 2 - McLeod Ganj – Bhagsu Nag – Triund Campsite

After an early breakfast, begin your trekking adventure from McLeod Ganj towards Bhagsu Nag. The trail first takes you to the beautiful Bhagsu Waterfall, where you can spend some time enjoying the refreshing mountain scenery and taking photographs. Continue further towards the famous Shiva Café, a popular resting point among trekkers. From here, the trail gradually ascends through dense forests and scenic mountain paths. As you gain altitude, you'll be treated to stunning views of the Kangra Valley and surrounding mountains. The route eventually merges with the main Triund trail near Gallu Devi Temple. By afternoon, reach the camping area near Triund. Depending on weather conditions and campsite availability, camps are generally set up in the designated camping zones near the Triund meadows or nearby approved campsite areas. Spend the evening witnessing a spectacular Himalayan sunset as the Dhauladhar peaks glow in shades of gold and orange. Day 3 - Triund Top Sunrise – Trek Back to McLeod Ganj – Departure

Wake up early to witness one of the most beautiful sunrises in the Himalayas. After enjoying tea and breakfast, proceed towards the famous Triund Top. Standing at the summit, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the snow-covered Dhauladhar Mountains and the vast Kangra Valley below. Spend some time soaking in the beauty of the Himalayas, capturing photographs, and enjoying the peaceful mountain atmosphere. After exploring Triund Top, begin your descent back towards McLeod Ganj through the same scenic trail. Reach McLeod Ganj by afternoon, where your trek concludes with unforgettable memories of mountain adventures, scenic landscapes, and a true Himalayan experience. Meals Included: Breakfast
