There are some destinations that simply stay with you forever, and Leh Ladakh is one of them. Imagine driving through some of the world's highest mountain passes, witnessing crystal-clear blue lakes reflecting snow-capped peaks, exploring ancient monasteries perched on dramatic cliffs, and sleeping under a sky filled with countless stars. This Leh Ladakh Tour Package is designed for travellers who want to experience the true essence of the Himalayas without rushing through the journey.

This 8-day package is designed for the traveller who wants to go deep, not just tick boxes. We take you through the ancient monastery corridors of Hemis and Thiksey, across the world-famous Khardung La pass, through the sand dunes of Nubra Valley where Bactrian camels still wander, and all the way down to the impossibly blue waters of Pangong Tso and the quieter, soul-stirring Tso Moriri.

This itinerary has been thoughtfully planned to allow proper acclimatisation while ensuring you don't miss any of Ladakh's must-visit destinations. From enjoying a camel ride on the cold desert of Hunder to witnessing the sunrise over Pangong Lake, every experience adds a unique chapter to your Himalayan adventure. Wander a local market without rushing, eat momos by the roadside, and stare at a sky full of stars that you simply cannot see anywhere else. Our handpicked accommodations are comfortable and warm, because after a long day on mountain roads, a good bed matters.

Whether you are a solo traveller chasing solitude, a couple looking for something extraordinary, or a group of friends on your biggest adventure yet, Ladakh will meet you exactly where you are and give you something you were not expecting. Pack your warmest layers, leave your assumptions behind, and come ready to be completely undone by one of the most beautiful places on this planet.

Leh Ladakh isn't just a destination, it's an experience that changes the way you see nature and travel. Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Leh

Arrival Day
You land in Leh and honestly, your one job today is to do nothing. The altitude is around 3,500 metres and your body needs time to catch up. Check into your hotel, have a light lunch, take a slow walk around the old Leh market if you feel up to it- the little shops selling prayer flags and turquoise jewellery are perfect for a gentle stroll. Tonight, eat lightly, drink plenty of water, and go to bed early. Trust us on this one. Overnight Stay: Leh

Day 2 - Discovering the Best of Leh

Today, we ease you into Ladakh properly. You will visit Shanti Stupa in the morning- go early, the light is magical and the view over Leh town is something else entirely. Then we head to Leh Palace, which feels like a quieter, more raw version of Potala. After lunch, we visit Hemis Monastery, the largest and richest monastery in Ladakh, and Thiksey Monastery, which sits on a hill like a mini-Potala and is genuinely one of the most photogenic spots in all of India. Back to the hotel by evening.

Day 3 - Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

This is the day everyone talks about. We drive over Khardung La Pass- at 5,359 metres, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The air is cold, the views are absurd, and yes, you will stop for photos at the top. After descending, the landscape transforms dramatically as we enter Nubra Valley through the Shyok River route. You will see sand dunes in the middle of mountains- it genuinely looks surreal. Check in to your camp in Hunder and if you fancy a short Bactrian camel ride at sunset, go for it.

Day 4 - Nubra Valley Exploration

Take the morning slow- have breakfast with a view of the dunes. Then we explore Diskit Monastery, which has a massive 32-metre statue of Maitreya Buddha overlooking the valley. The afternoon is free to explore the local village, chat with residents, or simply sit and watch the mountains change colour. Nubra has a different, quieter energy from Leh and this unrushed day is intentional.

Day 5 - Nubra to Pangong Lake

The drive from Nubra to Pangong is long but absolutely spectacular- you follow the Shyok River for long stretches and the road winds through some of the most remote terrain you will ever see. When Pangong finally appears on the horizon, the electric blue hits you before you even realise what you are seeing. Check in to your lakeside camp, watch the sunset, and if you can handle the cold, sit outside after dinner and look up. The Milky Way over Pangong is something you carry with you.

Day 6 - Pangong to Tso Moriri

Most tourists skip Tso Moriri and that is their loss. We leave Pangong in the morning and take the route through Chushul and Mahe Bridge down to this high-altitude lake that very few people visit. The drive takes you past nomadic Changpa settlements, vast open plains, and the occasional herd of wild kiang (Tibetan wild ass). Tso Moriri is deeper, darker, and more austere than Pangong- and somehow even more beautiful. Camp overnight by the lake.

Day 7 - Tso Moriri to Leh via Tso Kar

On the way back to Leh, we stop at Tso Kar, a salt lake that turns white at the edges and attracts flocks of bar-headed geese and black-necked cranes. The road then climbs over the Tanglang La pass before descending back into Leh. You arrive in the evening with just enough time to do a final round of shopping on Main Bazaar Road. Have a proper Ladakhi meal tonight, skyu or thukpa, you have earned it.

Day 8 - Departure

Your last morning in Leh. Have a slow breakfast, pack your bags, and take one last look at those mountains. Transfers to Leh airport for your onward flight. Safe travels, and we are certain you will be back.
