Delhi to Goa is a proper cross-country trip, roughly 2,500 kilometres by any route, which means the travellers we work with from Delhi almost always want the same thing: enough days in Goa to actually justify the journey. This goa tour package from Delhi is built as a 5-day holiday rather than a rushed long weekend, because we've heard from too many Delhi guests who flew down for three days and felt like they'd barely landed before it was time to leave.
The extra day compared to our shorter packages goes toward pacing, not padding. Delhi travellers are often coming out of serious heat or serious cold depending on the season, and the adjustment to Goa's coastal climate and slower rhythm takes a bit of time. So this itinerary spreads sightseeing across two beach days instead of cramming north and south Goa into one long day, adds a proper Old Goa and Panaji cultural day, and still leaves a full free day for whatever's caught your interest by that point, be it a specific beach, a casino night, or simply doing nothing with a drink in hand.
We cover both North Goa's well-known beach belt Baga, Calangute, Anjuna, Vagator and the calmer South Goa stretch around Colva, Benaulim and Palolem, along with a spice plantation visit that Delhi travellers in particular tend to enjoy, since it's such a contrast to anything available back home. Old Goa's Portuguese-era churches and Fontainhas' pastel lanes round out the cultural side of the trip.
Airport pickup and drop within Goa is included, and we coordinate around whichever flight you've booked from Delhi, direct connections run frequently and take around 2.5 hours. For groups or families travelling from Delhi, we can also adjust room configurations and add a private vehicle upgrade if the group is larger than four.

Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival & North Goa Introduction
Arrival Day
Day 1 - Arrival & North Goa Introduction
Arrival DayYou'll land at Goa's airport and be picked up by our driver, then taken to your hotel for check-in. Given most Delhi flights land by early afternoon, we ease into things with a relaxed first evening a short visit to Candolim or Calangute beach just to get your bearings and watch your first Goa sunset, followed by dinner at a beach shack nearby. No heavy sightseeing on arrival day; the flight and the climate shift deserve at least a few hours of adjustment.
Day 2 - North Goa Beach Circuit
Day 2 - North Goa Beach Circuit
A full day covering the beach belt Goa is famous for. We start at Baga and Calangute in the morning, when the water sports crowd is still light, then move to Anjuna by midday, worth it even outside flea market days for the cliffside views alone. Vagator in the late afternoon has some of the best sunset points on this coast, and we time the drive to be there right as the light turns golden. Evening's free for Baga's nightlife or a quieter dinner, your call.
Day 3 - South Goa & Spice Plantation
Day 3 - South Goa & Spice Plantation
South Goa is a different pace entirely, and most Delhi travellers tell us it's their favourite day of the trip. Morning starts with Colva and Benaulim's wide, uncluttered beaches, then we head inland to a working spice plantation for a guided walk through pepper, cardamom and betel nut groves, followed by a traditional Goan lunch included in your package. Afternoon options include Cabo de Rama's cliffside fort or simply more beach time at Palolem, which we'd genuinely recommend given how different it looks from anything in North Goa.
Day 4 - Old Goa, Panaji & Free Time
Day 4 - Old Goa, Panaji & Free Time
Morning is for culture and history the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral in Old Goa, both UNESCO-listed and genuinely impressive even if you're not usually drawn to churches, followed by a walk through Fontainhas, Panaji's old Latin Quarter, all pastel houses and narrow lanes. By afternoon, the day opens up this is your buffer day, use it for shopping at Mapusa market, a casino evening on the Mandovi, or just more time at whichever beach you've liked best so far.
Day 5 - Departure
Day 5 - Departure
Depending on your flight time back to Delhi, your final morning can be spent at leisure, one last swim, a slow breakfast, a walk through the market near your hotel, before we transfer you to the airport in good time for your flight home.
