About Kabila Nature Camp
Kabila Nature Camp provides an eco-friendly adventure retreat at an altitude of 4,200 meters in Spiti Valley. Positioned in the scenic Dhar Pallamo valley, this seasonal glamping destination is situated just a short distance from the iconic Chandratal Lake, making it an ideal base for trekkers and stargazers. The site features weather-insulated deluxe Swiss tents equipped with attached or basic western-style toilets. Guests can enjoy freshly prepared, hot North Indian meals and evening snacks at the on-site dining area, which are vital for the freezing alpine nights.Operating strictly from June to October, this remote wilderness property prioritizes low-impact eco-tourism. To ensure comfort in the rugged terrain, the outpost provides limited evening electricity via generators and private parking zones, letting travelers experience the pristine Spiti landscape comfortably.

Faq's
1. Can I camp right next to the water at Chandratal Lake?
Ans. No, camping directly on the lakeshore is strictly banned. To protect the fragile Ramsar wetland ecosystem, the Koksar Panchayat requires all camps to set up in a designated zone 2 to 3 kilometers away at Dhar Pallamo.
2. Is the campsite open all year round?
Ans. No, this is a seasonal wilderness outpost. It is set up every year in early June and entirely dismantled by early October before heavy snow blocks the Kunzum Pass.
3. Is there mobile network or Wi-Fi coverage at the camp?
Ans. No, there is absolutely zero cellular signal or internet data near Batal or Chandratal Lake. You should download your offline maps and inform family members of your itinerary before leaving Manali or Kaza.
4. Can I charge my phone and camera batteries in my tent?
Ans. No, individual Swiss tents do not have power outlets. You must charge your electronics at the shared multi-plug boards inside the central dining tent during evening generator hours (typically 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM).
5. How cold does it get at night during peak summer?
Ans. Even in June and July, night temperatures frequently plunge to sub-zero levels (0°C to -5°C). The property supplies heavy-duty thermal bedding and quilts, but packing thermal innerwear and heavy jackets is vital.
