Yulla Kanda Trek Himachal: How to Reach the World’s Highest Krishna Temple

The Yulla Kanda Trek is located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The trek starts from Lambar village and leads to a high-altitude lake and the sacred Krishna temple.

Yulla Kanda is famous for housing the world’s highest Krishna temple near a pristine alpine lake. It is also known for its untouched beauty, spiritual significance, and panoramic Himalayan views.

The Yulla Kanda Trek is considered moderate to difficult due to its steep ascent, high altitude (around 3,800–4,000 meters), and long trekking hours.

The best time to visit is from May to October when the weather is pleasant and the trail is accessible. Avoid monsoon months due to landslides.

The trek usually takes 2 to 3 days, including travel to the base village, trekking, and return.

This trek is not ideal for complete beginners. Prior trekking experience and good physical fitness are recommended.
