The South India Temple and Coastal Heritage Trail is a gorgeous sightseeing tour, and it involves religious sightseeing, ancient architecture and the grandeur of the coasts. It is a cultural sightseeing that showcases to the travellers culture-enriching sites of South India, which is an ideal combination of history, tradition and allure of the seashores.

It is full of great things to see because one of the great things of the trip is the old rock-cut temples of the Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram, which are great in both their greatly carved carvings in stone and historic value. The travellers can observe centuries-old temples and sculptures, which show the artistic glory of South Indian architecture.

The visitors of Pondicherry can enjoy a quiet cycle ride in the picturesque French quarter of the city, which has colonially coloured structures, no congestion and a leisurely ambience. Elsewhere, like the renowned Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai offers an immersive experience during the trip, as in the spiritual evening aarti with spiritual music and traditional rituals.

The other memorable experience of the tour is the sunrise at the Kanyakumari, which is the southernmost point of India where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean converge. It is certainly a marvellous feature for the visitors, bearing in mind the everlasting calm sea sight.

All the travellers find the tour as a way of learning the religious background of South India, the beauty of its beaches, as well as the rich cultural heritage of this land in one visit.
