Day 1 - Arrival in Leh – Time to Slow Down and Acclimatize

Arrival Day
Once you land in Leh, the crisp mountain air and stunning views instantly make you realize you're somewhere special. After being welcomed at the airport, you'll be transferred to your hotel. Since Leh sits at a high altitude, today is all about relaxation and acclimatization. Spend the day taking it easy, sipping butter tea, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. If you feel comfortable in the evening, take a short walk around Leh Market and explore the local cafés and handicraft shops before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Leh Sightseeing – Monasteries, History & Scenic Views

Begin exploring the cultural side of Ladakh. The day starts with a visit to the magnificent Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh town and the surrounding mountains. Next, visit the historic Leh Palace, followed by the spiritual Thiksey Monastery, known for its beautiful architecture and giant Maitreya Buddha statue. Later, stop at Shey Palace and the famous Hall of Fame Museum, dedicated to the brave soldiers of the Indian Army. By evening, return to Leh and enjoy some free time at the local market before an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Leh to Pangong Lake- The Most Beautiful Drive of the Journey

Today is the day you've been waiting for. After an early breakfast, we begin our drive toward Pangong Lake via the legendary Chang La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The journey itself is an adventure. Snow-covered peaks, winding mountain roads, grazing yaks, and stunning valleys accompany you throughout the drive. As you approach Pangong Lake, the first glimpse of its turquoise waters is truly unforgettable. Spend time walking along the lakeshore, taking photographs, and simply admiring the beauty around you. As evening arrives, watch the changing colors of the lake under the setting sun. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in camps or cottages near Pangong Lake.

Day 4 - Pangong Lake to Leh

Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over Pangong Lake. The morning light reflecting on the lake creates a picture-perfect moment you'll remember forever. After breakfast, begin the return drive to Leh, once again crossing the scenic Chang La Pass. Along the way, enjoy several stops for photography and refreshments. Reach Leh by evening and spend your final night exploring the local market, buying souvenirs, or simply enjoying a relaxing dinner.

Day 5 - Departure from Leh

After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye to the mountains. Depending on your flight schedule, you'll be transferred to Leh Airport with unforgettable memories of Pangong Lake and the beautiful landscapes of Ladakh.
