Since motor vehicles are not permitted inside Matheran, continue towards the hill station by walking, horseback, or local hand-pulled rickshaw. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, explore the local market and enjoy a peaceful walk through Matheran's red-soil pathways. Shop for local chikki, handicrafts, cane products, leather goods, and souvenirs.
