Day 1 - Dharamshala to Kareri Village

Arrival Day
Arrive in Dharamshala and proceed towards Ghera Village, the gateway to the Kareri Lake Trek. From Ghera Village, continue to Kareri Village. Adventure enthusiasts can choose to trek through scenic forest trails for approximately 2–3 hours, while those seeking a more comfortable journey can hire a local taxi to reach the village. Upon arrival, check in to your homestay or guesthouse and spend the rest of the day exploring the charming village. Interact with the local Gaddi community, admire traditional Himachali architecture, and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Day 2 - Kareri Village to Kareri Lake Trek

After an early breakfast, begin your trek towards the beautiful Kareri Lake. The trail follows the crystal-clear Kareri Nullah stream and passes through dense forests of pine and oak, wooden bridges, rocky paths, and lush alpine meadows. Throughout the trek, you'll be rewarded with spectacular views of the surrounding valleys and the majestic Dhauladhar Mountains. As you gain altitude, the landscape becomes increasingly dramatic and pristine. Upon reaching Kareri Lake, take time to admire the crystal-clear waters and the breathtaking Himalayan backdrop. You can also hike to the nearby hilltop temple, which offers panoramic views of the lake and surrounding peaks. Spend time relaxing, taking photographs, and soaking in the serene mountain atmosphere. Later, head towards Reoti Campsite, one of the most popular camping locations on the Kareri Lake trail. Surrounded by mountains and open meadows, Reoti offers a truly memorable camping experience. Day 3 - Kareri Lake – Kareri Village – Departure

Wake up to a spectacular Himalayan sunrise and enjoy breakfast amidst nature. After spending some final moments near the lake, begin your descent back towards Kareri Village. Retrace the scenic trail through forests, streams, and mountain landscapes while enjoying the fresh mountain air one last time. Upon reaching Kareri Village, continue towards Ghera Village and proceed for your onward journey.
