This Goa tour package Chennai travellers keep asking us for is built around a fairly specific gap we noticed, direct flights from Chennai to Goa exist but aren't as frequent as routes from Delhi or Bangalore, so trip planning from Chennai needs a bit more coordination than travellers expect. We've built this package to absorb that complexity rather than pass it on to you, handling flight timing, airport transfers and a full four-day itinerary as one connected plan.
Chennai groups booking with us tend to split fairly evenly between first-time Goa visitors and repeat travellers who've done the north Goa beach circuit before and specifically want more time in the south this time round. This itinerary is built to satisfy both, a proper look at the well-known North Goa beach belt on day one, followed by South Goa's quieter stretches and a spice plantation visit on day two, which gives repeat visitors the newer experience they're after while still covering the essentials for first-timers.
Food, as with most South Indian routes, gets specific attention. A good number of our Chennai bookings are vegetarian travellers, and Goan cuisine, being heavily seafood and pork-driven, needs a bit of local knowledge to navigate well. We work with hotels and restaurants along this route that handle vegetarian meals properly, and our included spice farm lunch always comes with a full vegetarian option, not an afterthought version of the main menu.
Day three covers Old Goa's Portuguese-era churches and Panaji's Fontainhas quarter, a nice cultural counterpoint to two days of beach time, and day four is kept deliberately light, useful for last-minute shopping or simply a slower final morning before your flight back. Airport transfers within Goa are included on both ends, coordinated around whichever Chennai-Goa flight connection suits your travel dates, direct where available, via Bangalore or Mumbai where it isn't.

Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival & North Goa Beaches
Arrival Day
Day 1 - Arrival & North Goa Beaches
Arrival DayYou'll be picked up on arrival and taken to your hotel to check in. We start sightseeing that same afternoon with Calangute and Baga, the most recognisable stretch of North Goa's coastline, easing into water sports if the group's interested, arranged directly with vendors on the beach. As the afternoon moves toward evening we head to Anjuna and then Vagator for sunset, both known for their cliffside views over the Arabian Sea, before heading back for dinner, either at your hotel or one of the beach shacks nearby that our driver can point you to.
Day 2 - South Goa & Spice Plantation
Day 2 - South Goa & Spice Plantation
A change of pace today, South Goa runs quieter and cleaner than the beach belt you saw yesterday. We start at Colva and Benaulim, then move inland late morning to a working spice plantation for a guided walk through pepper, cardamom and betel nut groves, followed by a traditional Goan lunch with full vegetarian options included. It's usually the day Chennai groups mention enjoying most, the pace is slower, the setting greener, and the food, whichever version you go for, is a proper introduction to Goan cooking beyond the seafood shacks.
Day 3 - Old Goa & Panaji Heritage Walk
Day 3 - Old Goa & Panaji Heritage Walk
Today's focused on history and architecture. We visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral in Old Goa, both UNESCO World Heritage churches from the Portuguese colonial era, genuinely worth the visit regardless of your own background. From there we move to Fontainhas in Panaji, a neighbourhood of narrow lanes and pastel houses that's become one of the more photographed corners of the state, good for a slow walk and a coffee stop. Afternoon is kept open, a casino evening on the Mandovi, extra beach time, or early shopping at Mapusa market, whichever suits the group.
Day 4 - Shopping & Departure
Day 4 - Shopping & Departure
Your final morning is light by design, a last swim if timing allows, followed by souvenir shopping near your hotel or at Anjuna market, cashew feni included if you're taking some home, before we transfer you to the airport in time for your flight back to Chennai.
