Day 1 - Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization & Local Exploration

Your journey begins in Leh, the capital of Ladakh, nestled amidst the majestic Himalayas at an altitude of over 11,000 feet. The day is kept light to help your body acclimatize to the altitude. As the evening approaches, explore the iconic Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace, both offering panoramic views of the town and surrounding mountains. Later, wander through the lively Leh Market, where traditional handicrafts, souvenirs, and local cafés provide a glimpse into Ladakhi culture. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2 - Leh Sightseeing – Monasteries & Cultural Heritage

Today unveils the rich cultural heritage of Ladakh. Visit the magnificent Thiksey Monastery, known for its stunning architecture and giant Maitreya Buddha statue. Continue to Shey Palace, once the summer residence of Ladakh's royal family, followed by the Hall of Fame Museum, which showcases the region's history and military significance.
