Set in the majestic Himalayas of Uttarakhand, Badrinath Temple is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and the flowing Alaknanda River, it forms an important part of the revered Char Dham Yatra.
The journey to Badrinath is as powerful as the destination itself. Much of the drive follows a narrow road carved into cliffs high above the roaring Alaknanda River, whose sound stays with you even through closed windows. As you move past Vishnuprayag, conversations slowly fade, replaced by the quiet intensity of the mountains.

Then, almost suddenly, the valley opens and there it is. The Badrinath Temple, standing in vibrant reds and golds against the rugged Himalayan backdrop, with the majestic Neelkanth Peak rising directly behind it, is crowned with snow throughout the year. It’s a sight that feels both dramatic and deeply spiritual.

Before seeking darshan, most pilgrims stop at Tapt Kund, a natural hot spring located just below the temple. With steaming water heated by geothermal energy and the cool mountain air around you, the experience is both refreshing and energizing, especially with the Alaknanda flowing fiercely nearby.

Just 3 km ahead lies Mana Village, often overlooked but truly worth a visit. Known as the last village before the Indo-Tibetan border, Mana offers a glimpse into a quieter, timeless way of life. Its stone houses, narrow lanes, and spiritual significance, especially Vyas Gufa, linked to the Mahabharata, make it a meaningful stop. Here, the Saraswati River appears briefly in full force before disappearing underground, adding to the village’s mystique.

With three nights in the region, this package ensures you don’t rush through the experience. Badrinath is not just a place to visit, it’s a place to pause, absorb, and truly connect.

After hotel check-in, you can visit the sacred ghats and, if time permits, witness the peaceful Ganga Aarti. The calm atmosphere here sets the tone for the spiritual journey ahead.

Day 2 - Haridwar/Rishikesh to Joshimath

After breakfast, you begin your drive into the Garhwal Himalayas, following the Alaknanda River upstream. The route takes you through scenic mountain roads and sacred confluences like Devprayag, where the Ganga is formed. As the terrain becomes more dramatic, you gradually reach Joshimath by evening. Check in and relax for the night.

Day 3 - Joshimath to Badrinath – Darshan & Mana Village

Today is the most important day of your journey. After breakfast, proceed to Badrinath Temple. On arrival, pilgrims usually take a holy dip in Tapt Kund before darshan. The temple, set against the stunning Neelkanth Peak, offers a deeply spiritual experience. Later, visit Mana Village, where you can explore Vyas Gufa and see the powerful flow of the Saraswati River. Return for an overnight stay in Badrinath or Joshimath.

Day 4 - Badrinath/Joshimath to Rudraprayag

You may attend early morning darshan before starting your return journey. As you descend, the drive once again offers beautiful views of the Alaknanda valley. By evening, you reach Rudraprayag or Srinagar for an overnight stay.
